The first agency office of Mylaki was established in Aliveri area back in 1982. The company takes its name after the nearby Mylaki Port where the LafargeHolcim cement factory (ex Aget Heracles) is still located. At the local Power Plant of PPC Station, we initially assisted on the coal imports, then on their first Fuel Oil imports, up until the time that Plant started being fed solely with LNG, which is received via pipeline. Besides these imports, the main activity for our first established office is and has been the ships’ loading cement and clinker and discharging petcoke and coal at the local Cement factory. From 1982 up until now, we have handled the vast majority of the ships calling the terminal, which nowadays is part of LafargeHocim Group.
