Lavrion office became a necessity during the 90’s, mainly due to the passage of many tankers from the Black Sea to the Med for sampling operations, often with three or four calls during the same day. Although demand for this kind of services has diminished, our presence there is required on a constant basis due to the operation of the PPC terminal. Initially we were called to act as agents and assist on the first PPC imports there. Despite the fact that Lavrion PPC does no longer consume Fuel Oil having switched to LNG consumption, imports are still made there, as the station is used for storage to cover the needs of various Greek Islands power stations and we have acted as agents for the majority of the vessels having discharged there so far.
